There was someone on here that was selling stained glass and I talked to her about buying some from her and I can't find the thread and can't remember who it was. Can anyone give me a clue as to who it is?
Hello, What are you looking for? I might have it in stock for you. I don't do the markup thing just add our cost to bring it home from the wholesalers and the postage to get it to you. Let us know if we can be of help. Thanks Brenda
I just want some of any kind. What I would really like to find is real narrow long pieces of any kind of glass. I have no idea of your age but I remember when you could buy wind chimes that came from Japan that had long narrow pieces and was hand painted glass with different birds and fans and that kind of thing painted on the glass.
Tell what all you have and colors. Like I said I will take just about any of it.
I have everything in stock they have on their list. If you click on the color your looking for in the Spectrum Glass Product Categories then click on the glass numbers to the left of the description and it will show you a glass swatch of the color and texture. Send me the number and name and I will check it out for you. Example of the number is 110.2A Pale Amber Artique (first one in the list.) If you want wispy type of glass the swatch will give you an over view and the sheet you get might be differently in the wispy parts since no two sheets of glass are the exact same. Just let me know if you prefer more or less wispy parts and I will see what we can do for you.

The questions below are based on you not know anything on glass or a minor knowledge. Sorry if they sound dumb on my part... lol
What sizes of strips width and lengths your looking for? Do you cut glass or need me to cut them for you? Do you have the equipment to put the holes in the strips for hanging? On the strips I wouldn't go any less then 1" wide for stability reasons, but when you let me know we can talk about it then if you need them to be less wide. I am assuming your not wanting glass to put inot a kiln right? If you are then I will have a few more questions for you to make sure you get the right glass you need for the project.
No glass for a kiln. I would want about 2 in wide and about 4 to 10 in long. I have no way of cutting so that I would leave to you and I do have drills to use for the holes but have not done glass b4. Have drilled shells but thats all so I would most likely have you to drill the holes also.
As far as the wispyness it doesn't matter.
I have picked out several different colors for the possiblity of buying. Let me know what kind of prices we are talking about and what extra charge for the cutting and drillling would be.
Thanks
Carolyn
How many of each would you like of each color and size?
Charge hmmmm...lol No charge I'm easy. Just pay for the glass and I will do the cutting and drilling for you for free. Drilling glass is really tricky at times it has to be done under water so risky with power tools, but we have been doing it for years.
Send me the color name and number please and we can go from there.
Hi, I am working on the pictures and the price so hang in there. I was called out to a client's house to do damage control after the storm we had took a couple stained glass windows and cracked them, hence the time it is taking to do you estimate.
Oh that's a job huh? We had some storms here to so I know what you mean. I am patient. I figured it would take you a little while so wasn't really worried. I have been looking at some stained glass chimes on ebay and they were gorgeous so makes me anxious to give it a shot. LOL
