There have always been a few ants in our garden, but I found a huge trail of them this morning leading to my strawberries. Are ants harmful to a garden? If so, how do you get rid of them? I have a hard enough time keeping them out of my house, let alone out of my garden! Thanks for the info. and help.
The only ants in the garden we had trouble with were fire ants. They ate our ripe strawberrys, cantalope, and tomatoes. but we finally got some controll over them and no problems later. That was some years ago. and we used poison thats not available now.
