My tree is currently in a 5 gallon pot and flowered beautifully from Mother's Day to just recently.

Would it harm the tree to transplant it into a half-barrel planter? I am redoing areas of my yard and so far do not
know where my lovely tree should live.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated

They are container grown for a few years in nurseries so it should be OK in a half-barrel for a year or two...especially in your mild climate!
