Squash: My female squash flowers are not blooming and I get up very early. The little squash are drying up before the blooms open.

Never had that happen. about the only thing that could cause it is insect damage. Aphids primarily altho squash bugs could do it. Awfully late for summer squash in Georgia. Mine are finishing as the pickle worms arrive. They are late this year, usually arrive by July 4. No more summer squash until late September.
