I bought these two little snail salt & pepper shakers at a resale shop today, for a buck. I painted eyes, and silly smiles on them, and stuck them in with my succulents.

Here they are, (with some other finds for my terrariums) before they got a little paint pen adjustment, when they were still just salt & pepper shakers :0)

Seedpicker: What a great idea! They look absolutely perfect in with your little gardens! Such ingenious folks around here, I learn something new every day!

... now I'm going to be on the lookout for cutsies like that whenever I go to a thrift store! Thanks for sharing! Hope you will post a picture when you find a garden spot for the "little people" too!

Oh, they are all so adorable! I really love the little angel!

I boxed up a bunch of Precious Moments collectibles and had my DH take them to the thrift store a couple of months ago ... drat, there were a couple of teeny little ones in there that would have been perfect for terrariums!

oh rats!! That is terrible, and one of the reasons I rarely let anything go, lol...

I always think to myself..."but, I may NEED that someday", lol...and I usually don't need it until I get rid of it, and then bam! ...I need it. :0)

Do you think you could go by that thrift store and check to see if they are still a few left?...

Oh plantladylin, my heart fell when you said you boxed up Precious Moments and sent them over to the thrift store. I have a nice collection that my son started for me and over the years added to it. Some of mine are teeny tiny, but they aren't going anywhere but in the curio cabinet. Once in a while I see some cute little things at the thrift store that I pick up for the tiny garden I'm going to have someday.
