In spite of our cool summer here (no 90's in sight), the plants from the shared MG seeds (thank you, Becky!) are coming along. We've had a lot of cool, cloudy days (even my tomatoes are lagging behind) but I finally have some flower buds forming. I was surprised by the leaf markings/variegation on 'Shibori Purple' - it's very pretty. The only seed that didn't germinate for me was 'Kohkan'. Perhaps I didn't give it enough time although the other 4 varieties were already up and starting to vine when I planted them in pots (no perfect ground space available). The vines are about 4 to 5 foot now - probably a little lanky due to half-day sun - but flower buds are forming. I may have to learn how to use DH's camera once the flower buds open.
