I have caved in and will be building a retaining wall for our slope and possible a decorative courtyard wall as well. I plan to build it from stone (8 - 12" chunks of local granite). I know the cubic yards that I need, but I can't figure out how much a cubic yard of this material will weigh and it's priced and delivered by the ton. Can anyone help with this calculation?
