I went to one of our local nurseries and got a planting schedule from them. It is based on local knowledge and experience and some of it differs from what the different websites say.

I lived in Palm Beach County for over 30 years, but don't remember when I started seeding. The only thing I do remember is that we always had a truck load of aged horse manure delivered on or around August 2nd - and the only reason for that is because it's my hubby's birthday, and I always teased him about shoveling horse-poop on his b'day.

Soo ... I must have seeded sometime after the end of August.

Your best bet is always your county agricultural extension agent.
