Attn FarmerDill allis pictures
That is where it is supposed to be, I can't tell from the photo if it is an attached tag, or part of transmission case. If the number is correct it would be a 46 model (73244) or 45 model ( 72244) That seems about right for the history of the tractor.
Thanks bunches I really appreciate you taking the time to help me with this thing.
It drives great.
It has but needs a good clean -up. Runs like a charm.
I wonder how much its really worth.
Allis B's and C's as advertised in Antique Power seem to average around 2 K depending on condition. I have seen a couple of complete restorations ( parade perfect) advertised as high as $3500, others in "running" condition as low as $1500. Allis Chalmers sold a lot of them, so scarity has not driven up the price as it has with some low production models.
