I am so proud of this guy.. I found him this past week for $3.00. Need to drill small hole in the very top and then run tubing from a pump (old water fountain) I bought at a yard sale for 50 cents.. He will go in my daughters fairy garden... The water will drain into rocks (with a pan hid underneath) so it will look like the water is just running into the rocks.. Kind of like a waterless fountain.. :-)

Not trash, not free but I had to share.. My Abby is so proud of the statue.. so I had to share.. Of course I will post pictures of finshed fountain... :-)

The can of green beans is so you can see or judge how tall he is.. I told my daughter he was going to be like the statue of liberty standing in her fairy garden.. lol..

Thanks Ladies.. :-) I am hoping to have him up and running this weekend.. We pretty much have the area dug out where the water will go.. Had to work it around lots of tree roots.. We wanted the little river/creek to look real.. Will post more pictures as it goes along..

Thanks again.. OH and tomorrow is YARD SALE DAY... yay maybe I can find something else to add to the fairy garden..

Hope everyone has a super great day.. :-)

Okay ladies.. Sorry Im running so slow updating this thread.. The original site we were going to use just didn't work out so we moved everything to an empty flower bed right beside the house and back door.. Seemed everytime we started on the garden it would rain/storm.. So this way if it does we are right beside the door. lol.. Also I found out that with my RA I just couldn't get down on the ground and do everything like it needed to be done so this worked out for the best since its a raised bed with bricks all around it so need be I can sit and do most of the work.. lol..

I know that there is a tiny garden section here on Daves, but I already started this thread here in T2T (my fav section lol) and to be honest most the things in her garden where odd and end things that were going to be tossed and a lot were given to Abby once everyone found out that we were making the garden.. Its almost like they wanted a little piece of them to be in her garden..

I still don't have the fountain going yet.. The pump I had was to small and cant push the water straight up so I need to head to Lowes and buy a small pump, then her water feature will be done..

Here are some of the pictures of the garden.. We still need to work on the doors around the base of the tree.. That will come in time..

My two girls helped with the garden, both who love ISPY books, I think thats why it turned out looking like an ISPY picture.. lol.. I told her they need to have a yard sale since the fairies have so much!!!

The unfinished foutain to the left and their little Beach on the right.. which still needs a little more work but its getting there..
