I bought a bunch of heirloom seeds for my garden this year. I know the weather hasn't been the best for tomatoes but I am honestly disappointed in the crop. I am sure the taste will more than make up for that but having been used to the newer varieties providing me with half a bushel per plant these heirlooms seem underwhelming. My own fault I suppose but nowhere online does it mention this...are heirlooms naturally lower yielding?
hehehe...I gave away a lot of plants too thinking my usual dozen plants would be enough!
