I HAVE SEVERAL BEGONIAS I BELIEVE THEY ARE TUBERIOUS THAT I SET OUT SIDE BECAUSE THEY WERE DYING. THEY ARE NOW THICK AND LUSH FULL OF BLOOMS. SINCE THEY THRIVE OUTSIDE WHAT DO I NEED TO DO THIS FALL WHEN I BRING THEM IN FOR THE WINTER TO KEEP THEM SO LUSH AND BEAUTIFUL?
You need to gradually get them adjustd to less light by bringing them in during late afternoon for overnight every day for a week or so than back out for morning outside light. than brng them in to set in front of a window. i always have better luck if they get some light in winter. and they need some humidity. Inside a centrally heated house is like a desert. Just keeping a glass of water next to them helps. They don't need to be watered all the time. Just when the soil has dried out.
Hope this helps.
