Nope, there are just a ton of them around here. I used to sword fight with the SCA and they nicknamed me and my place lizards keep. And it has stuck through the years. What’s scary is that the older I get the more I resemble a lizard.

Liz, this one's for you. The first time I saw your name, I had a V8 moment. I love my lizards, frogs and toads. I have anoles that entertain me every night when it's warm. They hunt on my glass door which is about 4' from this computer. I love to watch them stalk their prey and play tug of war with a moth. They also take food away from their little ones.

Yes, we mostly have the little green anole lizards around here. Between them and the hummers there’s never a dull moment on the patio. It’s always interesting to observe a guest just after a lizard falls into their lap or they get buzzed by a high-speed hummer taking a short cut.

At certain times of the year the tree frogs will drive you crazy with their constant drone.

I’m not sure what the other varieties we have running around here are but as long as they eat bugs they can stay.
