Thanks for the wonderful article. I was hoping to get there this year. Like you the dwarf conifer garden is a favorite.
My favorite plant overall was a large older Dragon's Eye PIne. I regularly paid homage to that tree. One year it was gone, a victim to the winter.
I am calling my friend now to see if we can make a trip before summer's end. Thanks again for the article.

I hope you get to go this year. It's always a treat for me. I would love to have a Dragon's Eye pine myself. I have seen a dwarf in catalogs and I lust after it. I can understand why it was a favorite. What a sad loss to the garden. Thanks for writing.
