the photo is of first day color of gary's cross of velvet rose X delisa's dble leona. i can hardly wait to see it darken up . the tendrils are incredibly long and showy . notice the hand in the pic , it helps show the size of bloom and teh giant tendrils . this is a winner so far , but look! there is more !! its also bloomed out as a semi double on its first cycle .
gary i will take pics, notes and measurements for you as it keeps blooming through the season . this is your baby so please let me know how to handle pollen , cuttings etc . the plant is only 4 ft tall and i think by fall i could have several above the Y cuttings rooted for you and any test growers you are working with .
this one is a keeper
