I have various kinds of pumpkins growing, but due to powdery mildew many of the leaves and vines are dying. In one planting group, it looks like they're all going to be gone soon.
How long will the pumpkins last--some are mini pumpkins, the little orange ones you'd get at the grocery store, about the size of a baseball; some are slightly larger, about the size of a softball or bigger, green on top & bottom, orange in the middle, and has big bumps; one is a medium pumpkin, perhaps 14" - 16" long and 7" in diameter. On this one in particular, the vine is almost dead, but the stem is still green. It's almost completely orange now.
These sprouted from unfinished compost, and I let them stay, since I was going to plant some anyway. They were from last year's pumpkins, some were bought, some were given to me, some I grew last year.
