Yikes! I've seen a few ripe and opened already and had to start getting them off the milkweed plants. I'll be keeping some, but i don't want our backyard filled with milkweeds...we have about a dozen plants...and 2 of them are the Rose incarta...which are about 5' by 3' each!!! Last year I didn't have to harvest til the last week of August...quite early this year!
Here's a pic of one of our ripe pods that split open...
