    This yellow daisy type flower appeared in my bed along with a basil plant and an amaranthus.

    I might have planted some seed...but don't remember. LOL It has gotten about 3 ft. tall.

    Yup,

    That's what it is. Now that you both mentioned the name, I remember planting some. This is the only plant that came up. Thanks a bunch you guys.

    Donna, do the leaves have a rough texture to them? Just curious because it is similar to two plants that I have been trying to id. Jim

    Hi Jim,

    I just went out and checked on the leaves and yes they are rough, especially when you rub backwards. They are also serrated around the edges. Glad I asked for this id, for you and others also.
