I have an old pitcher, couple of saucers and a few plates that are white with silver trim. The pattern is of grape clusters, vines and leaves. On the back of each piece it says ITALY PV and a number. Anyone have any ideas about what the PV means? I have no idea of the age of these pieces as they were given to me by my grandmother.

This is the pitcher with the design showing clearly.

Eva and Me Treasure Hunters

is the name of an EBAY store.

the is a plate posted with the exact markings (I think) as yours

listed as vintage hand painted art pottery plate
similiar to your piece (not the colors) but the scroll-y parts

Thanks for the info. Found the Ebay store but could not find any matching pieces. Sure do appreciate your info though. Any other info is greatly appreciated.

I sent you the link because some of the china at that ebay store had the same markings as your piece, and so I figured you could ask about that plate that I mentioned (since it had the marking) and you could ask for info about the manufacturer and whatever else you wanted to know.
