I write to you now with tears in my eyes. While I had a long term plan of 'some day' returning to Denver, it looks as if life and events have made that happen a lot sooner than expected.
Today, I just received word that they will be closing the local Comcast where my wife works and considering she has over 10 years with the company, we will be relocating to Denver or Salt Lake. They want to close the center within three months so we have a lot to do in a very short period of time.
I will not be able to take my rather large collection of beautiful clay pots to Denver because well, they will crack and break AND we won't have room for them.
So, my friends, I have time booked off on the Thursday and Friday before Labor Day Weekend. This is the 3rd and 4th of September. I would like to invite you all to come to my house and take what you want. It ALL needs to go. For those that have been to my house, you know some of these pots are HUGE. I will try and post photos as days go by if you like. I need all the pots to go along with miscellaneous things like cinder blocks and wood used for an improvised potting area, etc.
You can take what you like at no cost but donations are certainly welcome.
Just drop me a line or post on this thread or whatever if you plan on coming. It would be good to see as many of you as possible.
Before I close, I only have this to say: You ALL are an incredible group of people and I love you so very much. I promise to be a bit like Brenda and be a guest in your forum if that's okay.
Please pray for our family as we being an adventure into a new life in a new state.
Love,
Ben, Michelle, Drew and the kitties.
