After a late start, I've picked well over 100 lbs of tomatoes so far this season. I feel so sorry for those of you who have had to pull your plants because of blight.

My Roma type tomatoes started out with blossom end rot, and I had to throw out most of them. Then they got over it, and now are producing large, meaty fruit.

My "Money Maker" have been a hit with the people at work.

I had to purchase some plants this year because my seedlings were eaten by slugs. Talidaga, Better Boy and Celebrity. Of the three, I prefer Better Boy - the others do not have great taste.

This weekend I'll pick the rest of the ripe tomatoes, then will fertilize the plants, add more compost and get ready for round two.

I'm gonna need a bigger freezer!
