I am specifically looking for the types of dendrobiums that flower along the stems, not the ones that put out flower spikes like other orchids. I am hoping we will post photos of our dendrobiums here as offerings to trade. When my Epin King is finished blooming, as it is in this photo, it begins to produce new shoots where each flower was attached. When those have grown a bit, I cut the stem into chunks and pot up each one. In the last two years, I have given away ten of these. That bit of stem continues to throw out new shoots from the base in each pot! So those could be removed and rooted as well.
Looking forward to seeing some variety in my window!
I just repotted these guys the other day, used medium bark, and I mist every morning while I sip my coffee. Plus, there is always a bit of water in the tray. And I fertilize about every two weeks.
