This is the sign ups for the Brugmansia Seed Sprout Off hosted by Free Seed For Newbies
To be eligible to participate:
1) You MUST be a newbie (membership less than 8 months)
2) You MUST be a subscribing (paid) member of Dave's Garden.
3) You MUST contribute either seed, plants, or gardening item to the Prize Pot. *Seray and Mekos are exempt as they are supplying the Sprout off seed.
rules of the Sprout off:
1) Your name must be on the list (posted below) to participate. anyone may participate unofficially, but you will need to purchase your own seed, and there will be no prize.
2) Competition begins the moment you receive your envelope in the mail. So consider the clock to begin ticking the moment that envy hits your mailbox.
3) a pic of your final sprouted plant must be posted with ruler for comparison no later than Midnight, EST Nov. 1, 2009.
4) How you decide to sprout and grow your seed is completely up to you.. rememeber, you will be receiving 4 seeds. The more you germinate, the more you increase your chances of growing the tallest brug!
Research is NOT cheating.. and is encouraged. there is a wealth of information to be found from experienced brug growers on the Brugmansia Forums.. if you've never grown brugs before.. book mark that forum... you'll be using it alot.
