I have been winter sowing for four or five years. Last fall on this web site I traded for American persimmon seeds and hardy pecan nut seeds. Two weeks ago I planted into the ground two American persimmon trees and five pecan trees. Since then another pecan has sprouted. The past several years I winter sowed crepe Myrtles, butterfly bushes, Norway spruce trees, pear trees, and chaste trees. Some of these don't sprout until the summer months. Don't be in a hurry to dump those jugs.

I'll post several photos.
