I have a peony bed that I need to fill out with other plants and flowers that will add interest the rest of the year when the peonies are not blooming. I tried delphiniums, but the rabbits just won't leave them alone.
I'm going to put in some alliums but would like some other ideas. My peonies are all in the pastel range and I'd like to keep the flowers and plants I add to be in that subtle color range. I have beds of 'hot' colored flowers eleswhere. I do already have a number of spring bulbs in there. I guess I'm looking for things that will be interesting June onward.
Thanks!
