You did great. Looks beautiful. Did you see my butterfly girls in some of the other
forums? They are not Mosiacs like yours, but I love doing them. Got a couple more done.
I believe I will hang them on my fence. When I can remember I put hangers on the back of them.
Think I wil cut one out of wood and try it without the face.

I just hung the circle in the front of my house with basket under my problem is I am out of space to hang things first I have to find the place it will hang then make them.
I think your butterfly ladies are great they must look beautiful when they have the sun shinning on them.
Here is a angel one I did.----------Elaine

That is so Cute. I love it. Yes, I run out of room too. But I have a fence running down my drive way to keep my dog in. Cow panels of welded wire. I figure the butterflies would look good there. How thick is the wood you are using? My butterfly is made of concrete about 2" thick. I did cut out a butterfly this
afternoon. Will start on it tomarrow. Wil take picture of turtles and frogs to show you in the morning. Got to figure out how to put wires on them too.
So much creativity so little money. It is a mess to always want to be busy. Charleen

Hi Charleen ,
I used quarter inch ply wood circles thate is why I hang them under cover the wood did not cost me anything if I break down my costs each one is about 50 cents to make.
I drilled a hole and used wire as the hanger.
Its 10:30 Am here I am going down to my studio to start a new circle .
this is showing some of my fence really no space left.

Wow, got to show you my fence when I start hanging things. Did take some pictures but have to load them.
One of my Brugs is blooming and got pic of it this AM. Love your fence. The two circles are pretty, love them.
Do you use hot glue to stick the pieces? I use glue. Some of these girls use a waterproof glue on their projects.
They also put them outside. On my wooden butterfly I am going to put the grout on the edges to be sure (hope so)
it doesn't come apart. I am using 1/4" ply wood and it is not outside grade. I am going to start on it today.

Here they are LINED up by a fence. This is not the fence but close by where I make the pieces.
Got these molds and then did the Mosiacs on them. They are frogs and turtles. I add different
colors to the concrete, don't want bore-ing.

Hi Charleen I'm useing a Multi purpose ceramic tiling adhesive one thate is used in bathroom tiling. its nice and firm and tiles dont move when placing them on the wood and drys very quick the circles are 15 inchs across. when I grout I put it around the edges . Also paint the backs .
The frogs are great like the idea of different colours .

Hi Jerryhildebrand After I use all the circles I cut I will do a table I have a idea of a clover shape table its still in the planing stage.
Wow the glass on glass is great I am a long way from trying my hand at thate.

Yes, Jerrhildbrand, that is a great idea. I have one (a table) too, now covered in ply. That is a great idea. Your tables
are beautiful, angels and fairies. I plan on graduating from frogs and turtles and butterflies up to birdhouses
and , yes , a table.
Elain, took some pic this morning and will show you the buterfly I did on plywood. It was so much lighter to work with than those concrete forms.
Made all the difference in the world.
Ladies, just learning to do this is so much fun. I love trying to figure out how to do the designs. I love learning
new things, Keeps us young, doesn't it? Thanks

So glad you are back. Did the winds tear up any of your things? I got some of the little tiles but haven't done anything with them yet. I've been pulling up weeds this week so I can put in some flowers, have to put some mulch down, it is so dry here. My poor plants suffer sometime unless they are right close to the house. Think I may go try to do some work with mosiac today.

Lordy, girl: I'm glad it didn't get blown away. I make my mosiacs on the back of an old hand dug well shed that we put up. We use the well to water our longears. I need somwhere to pot up some plants. Have some that need it now. Going to ask my husband to put me an extension on the well house. He can build a neat shed using fence panels. He built me a lean to that is now converted to my chicken house. You like chickens?? I got some nice chickens. They are more my pets than for anything. I took some pictures yesterday. May have to try to do mosiac with chickens. Isn't he gorgeous?

Love that pot, and the picture. Glad you got someone to look in on you. I have 4 dogs. I don't believe I have ever been without a dog in my life. I love my dogs.
I started out with one 18 little rescues from a Perdue chicken farmer and When the critters made away with all but one, I brought her to the front yard and then had to put her by herself after the dog gone pup kept wanting to play with her. I had to dr. her but I got her where she is safe(I hope) The bandage is gone now, but she does have one on in this pic. Her name is Sweetie. And she is too.Take care Charleen

My goodness...I can't believe you do so many circles in one day!! I have been working on the same piece for two years - it's bigger - but still if I put that much work into it I'd be done a long time ago!

jerryhildebrand - beautiful table...what did you attach the glass onto the other glass with? I am doing a large old window - glass on glass - as a divider for my livingroom and kitchen. I'm not sure what to use so that you won't see the "glue" used to attach it.
