I'm planning to start a spray regimen this weekend in an attempt to control the mites on my tomatoes using a soap spray. Do I need to use one of the "specially-formulated" insecticidal sprays or can I use a product such as Ivory Liquid dish soap? If so, what is the proper dilution? Most of these household proucts are highly concentrated and I would think should not be mixed at the same rate as the insecticidal soaps. I want to avoid any potential damage to the plants while having the desired effect on the mites. Also, can one of the fertilizer sprayers that automatically dilute the product be used? And what would the proper interval between applications be? If some of you could suggest a good product and dilution rate, I would really like to hear from you. Paul
