I have been on vacation for five weeks and my garden looks about like you'd expect for a growing garden that gets enough water but not much else. lol I have lots of weeding to do, but the toads made babies in a puddle of water just off the patio and I seem to be spending lots of time watching the teeny tadpoles.

Anyway, the dats seem to bloom from the juncture of a leaf and the main stem. Since my dats have gotten very leggy could I cut them back, will they regrow. Lots of time left for growing and blooming here in zone 9a.
