I live in East Baton Rouge Parish which is 70 miles north up I-10 from New Orleans. It amazes me with all of the different types of plants that grow there that we can't think about growing here. I always enjoy the flora and fauna of New Orleans. Next time you are there, you must check out the creole food of Dooky Chase Restaurant on Orleans Ave in the 5th ward. It has excellent creole style food. The art work therein is well worth the visit.
