I too love picasa. However all of a sudden my photos I receive in e mails and save to My Pictures
are no longer automatically showing up in Picasa. I have set up the pathway to go from my pictures to
picasa. Anyone that can help me with this?

Within the Picasa program, there is an option to tell it "Add a folder to Picasa". It sounds like you've done this. When I tried to add a folder just now, a window popped up with the options to:
1) Scan Once
2) Remove from Picasa
3) Scan Always
I've got mine set up to Scan Always. I don't run Picasa in the background so it doesn't actually scan them until I open up Picasa. When I open it, it goes through and finds anything that hasn't been scanned and adds it to the list. Sometimes that takes a while if I've taken quite a few photos.
Something that might have happened is... you saved a photo some place other than My Pictures. Generally, the next time you get ready to save something it will try to go into that same "other" folder. That's happened to me before and I had to retrace my steps and act like I was saving something to find out where the heck my photo actually DID go.
