Wherever I have lived, Ive sprayed my Hoyas a lot to increase the humidity, and everywhere Ive lived it has had hard water which leaves the leaves looking dull and chalky. I read somewhere , probably here, but I cant remember who posted it, that a few drops of vinegar on water dissolves this covering when wiped on and lightly wiped off. Well, I tried it and voila, it worked a treat. Nice shiny leaves again, but be warned, its addictive and if you have a lot of plants...it will take a long time..:))
So, thanks to whoever that was...Ric or Doug, I think??
