Hi .. I have attached 3 photo's of my Barberry Rosey Glow that its leafs are falling off not all but most .. Its in part sun to part shade .. My other one's are doing great. I had one that was also lossing its leafs but it came back not as a rosey color but green mostly. The one in the phiot's has been plannted for about 3 months. Can anyone please tell me whats goin on here?? Will it be ok and just come back with green leafs like the other one?
Thanks so much

May need more water if only three months new and going through the summer.

Too much shade not good with new barberry plantings - may be able to take more shade if planted there longer.

The more sun the better color I have found.

Hope this helps and has given you food for thought. I have had no luck with planting barberry beginning of the summer - but that is here in NC. My fall plantings do better. Too much shade not good. But I am assuming all of yours planted in similar light conditions - so that probably not it (?)

Last thought: maybe with this one - the root system damaged when planting.
