I planted several "Beauty of Livermore" oriental poppies this spring. I didn't think they'd bloom at all, but several are blooming now (months later than the plants that I had planted a year or two earlier). Some of them bloomed nicely, but one's bud got all black. The leaves look fine. It's possible there are a couple of tiny holes in the bud. I can't really tell. Does anyone know what this is? And what, if anything, I should do about it?
