I got the first bloom on my Tacca "Green Isle" today and I was just blown away. This is a really nice Tacca variety. The first flower is pretty smallish. I have no idea if they will get bigger as the plant does, I suspect they will.
But the flowers REALLY ARE GREEN!!!! And it has these incredible, over a foot long, iridescent purple whiskers. I was afraid that the real colors were not going to come out in the photos I took but they did. I also took a photo of my Black Bat (also presently in bloom) for comparison. I have 3 pics plus a 4th black bat pic
