The Montgomery Palmetum, near Fairchild, has a large specimen of Microcycas which they have been able to set seed on several years in a row. They told us about it and showed us the plant when I was there on a private tour of the gardens. Apparently they distribute the seeds or auction them off, so hopefully more of these very rare plants will be growing in collections or other gardens.
