Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a mother of young tots I cannot tell you how hard it's been that this has been in the vault and not out on DVD at all times LOL! DD saw it on TV and we had recorded it to our cable box but alas when we had TV issues the repair man had to wipe clean all recordings we'd had and we lost Wizard of Oz booo hooo :(.
But the announcement's out. The 70th anniversary 2 disc DVD is coming September 29, 2009. :)
I also found out just days after it'd run that the Wizard of Oz live play was here in Houston and we missed it. Oh how DD would have loved to see her favorite characters live!!!!!
