This fall I am going to transplant 50 year old peonies that belonged to my grandfather.
They were moved once in 1955 and are now in very poor light , Hence, little to no blooms.
I understand that peonies really don't like to be moved so I am alittle intimidated by the process--there are about 25 of them!
Please forward any and all hints about the process--timing{I am in zone 5}, digging, transporting, and re-planting.
