Rudbeckia "Maya" - Are these the seeds?

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

These look like they're probably the seeds - look sort of like the chocolate sprinkles they used to put on ice cream, only smaller. Does anyone know for sure?

Hey Perennially. I just caught this post and as far as I know you do have the seeds there....at least that's what I've been saving too. LOL.

Thanks, Lala. At this point those are all I have left of the dried flower heads, so it'll be a good thing if they grow for folks.

Yes, they're the seeds. Each seed head should have a lot of them.

Thanks Karen. I didn't find a whole lot of seeds in them. Maybe the bees preferred something else.

Most likely the seeds already fell to the ground or the birds beat you to them.

Could be. Oh well... Just got back today from a week out of town. I'll check if there are any heads left that I can bag til they're ripe tomorrow.
