I was lucky enough to come upon a bucket piled high with different patterned saucers and small plates. Got them for free! Never being one to pass up anything that's a giveaway, I hauled them home. Any ideas on ways to use them? I'm open to all suggestions, especially if it's something my 3 teens might enjoy participating in with me.

you can make a few feeders by gluing the small plate on the bottom and glue it to rebar and feel with either water or feed or peanuts.

another suggestion is to glue a large plate on top, another short piece of rebar, then clue the small plate and the stick below with rebar and you have instead feeders out of reain.

or you break alot of into large pieces and clue on to a table and do a mozak design with the piecs.

I was thinking mosaic work too, but some time back I saw a darling little border edging made with little plates tipped up on end. It was soooo cute and delicate looking (provided you don't have any elephants running around your back yard).

I was thinking mosaic at first, but the border edging sounds sweet. I'm interested in pictures when you've decided!

I'm always interested in pictures of all projects, this one included.
