I have several planters full of various miscellaneous houseplants. Two planters have gotten two (seemingly) different infections of some sort, and I'm not sure how to identify or cure them. Please help!

The webby one is only on the soil and seems to have little nodules in it. Perhaps mites?

The fuzzy one is only on decaying plant matter and seems like maybe some sort of fungus.

Remove the bad looking parts, give the plant more light and ventilation, water it less often.
