This year my poor garden has pretty much had to fend for itself. Due to work constraints I've had very little time to organize my plantings. Thankfully my garden has not punished me for the benign neglect and provided some tasty meals.
Here is some of what I brought home from my plot on Sunday. As you can see, one zucchini successfully hid behind the leaves and got away from me until it was huge. My one San Marzano tomato plant has produced ~30 pounds of paste tomatoes so far this year. I bottled nine pints of tomatoes today. Hmmm, maybe I should turn that big zuke into some ratatouille and bottle some of that for the winter.
