Very nice and clear article, I just will add that not only only tomatoes can benefit from this but most juicy fruits and veggies, this is what I have been doing with passionfruits for years as I am sometimes ordered several kilo of such seeds.

Yep, definitely. Cantaloupe seeds also benefit from this treatment.
