Which bulbs are people planting in cool climates ?
I do daffodils the first weekend in September.
I have already dug in foxtail lily roots.
Tulips and fall flowering crocus also go in this weekend.
The daffodils are "Ice Follies" which are white with a soft yellow trumpet.
The tulips are "Antoinette" which are multi flowering and they change from yellow to orange to pink
depending on the spring weather.
Fall flowering crocus are fun because they flower at the first cool snap. Then they send up
strappy leaves in spring.
