Hi all. I have some questions for those of you who've been there done that...

My guara is starting to bloom again, but it's really messy. The flower stalks are up to 2 feet long and laying on the ground for the most part. Can or should I just cut off the flower stalks somewhat even with the bulk of the plant or should I leave it alone?

I just got an email from southwest gardner, saying it's time to plant the following:

Flowers- African Daisy, Bells of Ireland, Black-eyed Susan, Calendula, Cornflower, Dianthus, Flax, For-Get-Me-Not, Foxglove, Gaillardia, Lobelia, Mexican Hat, Nasturtiums, Poppy, Primrose, Ranunculus, Salvia, Snapdragon, Stock, Sweet Peas, Verbena

Veggies: Snap Beans, Beets, Bok Choy, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Collards,Cucumbers, Endive, Kale, Lettuce, Mustard Greens, Peas, Green Onions, Snow Peas, Radishes, Spinach, Swiss Chard ("bright lights" is pictured), and Turnips

Really? My wildflower seeds say October...I thought when it cooled off. I am going to assume that they mean seeds, as well, rather than plants. What "calendar" is recommended for when to plant what in this area?

Thanks!
Katie
