I have a hoya compacta. I bought it,replanted it in a hanging basket, and put it outside. It did great for a while, now two of the "ropes" have a sandy looking dry film on the leaves. Now these leaves are beginning to shrivel(even more than natural) and die. The stems look good and are strong. I have now moved it into the house and "scrubbed" all these leaves with Q-tips to remove the "film". I don't know what I need to do for it now.I also don't know what this could be. Could someone please point in the right direction.
