I just received my plants from my favorite mail order company. Most showed the usual shipping wilt and have already recovered after getting a drink and sitting in the fresh air for awhile -EXCEPT the 3 Eryngium planum (Sea Holly). The leaves and stems took a beating, most are crushed and broken. I'm going to wait until tomorrow before trimming them to be sure but I think all I am going to have is 1 or 2 maybe 3 tiny leaves left on each plant. Do you think if I pot them up and baby them indoors over the winter they will make it? Hard to see but the stems are mostly broken. When I trim off the broken stems should I leave as much as the stems as I can or should I trim them off at the soil?
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
