On the news, Here in Tennessee someone found a huge mushroom 17 inches across and I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me what kind it was if possible as I have no pics. It was big, white, and round but not perfectly more like a smashed ball. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Might be a Giant Puffball, Calvatia gigantea.
