With the exception of my bedding dahlias this has been my first year growing these beauties and I have to say I am absolutely in love. Most of them are just now blooming (is that normal or did I get a late start?) so I'm just starting to get a chance to enjoy them. I particularly want to thank Pooch for giving me this experiance as she got me going when I lost my co-op tubers this spring.

This may be a silly question, but I'm wondering about seeds. I always collect my own seed for the bedding dahlias and now I'm curious as to what would a person get - if anything - by planting the seeds collected from these larger decorative species?
