I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of some information that I need. For the first time I have perennials in my deck container garden (I live in Connecticut fyi) and I don't know what to do for them now that cooler weather is approaching. Do I need to "put them to bed" somehow for the winter? Or do I just let them be?
Depends on what kind of perennials they are. Some are more "sensitive" than others to the cold. Also the bigger the pot the better they'll do. When I have them in smaller pots I'll just sink them into the ground to overwinter.
