Beginner Gardening Questions: Winterizing container garden perennials

Author Content WritinginCT Bristol, CT September 09, 2009 03:38 PM Post #7044902 Hiya! New to the this forum :) I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of some information that I need. For the first time I have perennials in my deck container garden (I live in Connecticut fyi) and I don't know what to do for them now that cooler weather is approaching. Do I need to "put them to bed" somehow for the winter? Or do I just let them be? Also the bigger the pot the better they'll do.
