We have just over 30 species and subspecies of native Gomphrena, ranging in colours from white to pink and bright red.

aaahh...I missed those this year! I forgot to plant them. I'm going to have to dig in my seed collection and get them ready for next year.

They are! I'm so out of room for stuff, probably why I didn't, but I'll scatter some in the front garden, they do pretty good there.

And they are very happy little plants that don't require much in the way of care. Seem to be able to weave themselves through the bed and nod their happy little heads.

I have to get myself some of those "everblooms"! They must be easy from seed if they reseed themselves so well in your gardens. Any tips on germination?

How cool! Is it the "strawberry" or the monster one? Can't remember when I sent them, but it doesn't seem very long ago, I hope it tastes good!
